Cascading circles, were popular on singers like Carrie Underwood. Nelly Furtado donned a version by Bochic (a company that, dressing at least four of the night’s big guests, we can’t help but think has benefited since Angelina Jolie wore them to the Golden Globes).
Yellow gold bangles, stacked, were the preferred wrist wear for guests like Natasha Bedingfield, Rihanna, and Jennifer Hudson.
Extremely huge earrings were chosen by stars like Fergie, who wore enormous, shoulder-scraping bling. Christina Aguilera followed suit in oversize Lorraine Schwartz hoops. The antique vintage look seemed to be everywhere.
Metallic dresses were the most consistent jewelry-related trend of the evening. Hilary Duff, Vanessa Minnillo, and Jamie Foxx all wore metal tones.
Some of the post-red-carpet buzz suggests this year’s impressive clothing and jewelry recalled the Academy Awards. Hopefully we’ll be seeing more of this in years to come, Grammys.
