Lowest Price Guarantee Michaels guarantees you the lowest price if you present, within 30 days, a signed Confidence /Grading Report for a diamond of identical weight, cut, and quality, we will match the price or refund your purchase.

Lifetime Quality Guarantee The GIA grades on your Diamond Certificate are guaranteed to be as stated. Your diamond has been graded by GIA/AGS trained diamond graders and certified by an owner. If you wish to have this diamond graded by the AGS or GIA Grading Lab at your expense, and the center Michaels Diamond is not graded by the Lab at the same or better grade, we will reimburse to you the entire cost of shipping, insurance and the Grading Lab Report (Usually $150 to $400). In addition, we will replace your diamond at no additional cost, with a Michaels Diamond of the same weight and grade as shown on your diamond certificate. A Lab report will be obtained, at our expense, to verify the grade of the replacement diamond.
Lifetime Loss Guarantee Lifetime guarantee against loss of your Michaels diamond from our setting if due to defective materials or workmanship, excluding normal wear and abuse. Mounting must be submitted to Michaels for inspection and determination of reason for loss. For your guarantee to be valid, your engagement must have all work performed by Michaels, been inspected within 6 months prior to any claim and registered on your inspection record. For added protection, you may wish to see your insurance agent about adding your jewelry to your home owners, renters, or scheduled personal property insurance. Michaels limit of liability on any diamond loss is $2,500.
Lifetime Damage Guarantee If your center diamond becomes damaged within the first year, it will be replaced, subject to the $2,500 limitation. If your center diamond becomes damaged after the first year, Michaels will recut it at no charge.
Lifetime Diamond Upgrade You may trade-in your undamaged Michaels diamond of up to 2 carats at anytime. Michaels will allow you full purchase price (less mounting and taxes) towards a trade of any diamond provided the purchase price is 50% greater than the trade in allowance.
Guaranteed Return Privilege If, within 30 days, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, it may be exchanged or returned (excluding special orders) for a full refund. Satisfaction is guaranteed.
Return Policy Stock merchandise may be exchanged within 60 days of delivery but never if worn or not in new condition. The original sales slip must accompany returns or exchanges.
Exceptions:
- Watches may be returned only within 7 days and then only if never worn and in new condition, with all links, warranty forms and packaging intact.
- Merchandise sold "as is," or as "final sale," special orders and/or pesonalized items may not be returned.
Refunds will be made only on items returned within 30 days and will be made by the original method of payment, except that cash refunds over $25.00 will be by check. Allow 10 days for receipt of check.
Damaged Items Under First Year Warranty Michaels Jewelers will repair any item at no charge. If damaged beyond repair, regardless of fault, Michaels will share equally the cost of replacement (current retail).
- Chipped Stones are considered damaged and will be re-cut or polished at no charge. (100% "R" Allowance).
- Lost Stones are considered damaged beyond repair and Michaels will share equally its replacement.
Check Acceptance Policy Michaels check acceptance policy follows procedures set forth by National Check Verification agencies. In addition to a Connecticut Drivers License and major credit card, other policies may preclude us from delivering any merchandise until the check clears the bank. We appreciate your patience & understanding.

Michaels Jewelers Foundation The Michaels Jewelers Foundation awards eight four-year scholarships annually to Connecticut students attending the University of Connecticut. Additionally the foundation awards one-time grants to twelve Connecticut high school students attending UCONN. Applications are available in high school guidance offices. |
