Scholarships for UCONN Athletes


Through the of the Michaels Jewelers Foundation Fund, a $250,000 endowment was established at The University of Connecticut Department of Athletics.

  • The Fund offers eight (8) scholarships, $2,000 each, to UCONN student athletes who participate in intercollegiate sports.
  • The scholarships are presented through the Department of Athletics by a special UCONN presidential commission.
  • Scholarships are available to Connecticut students attending UCONN (main campus) and participate in intercollegiate athletics.
  • Scholarships are usually awarded in the freshman year and are continued annually based on maintaining academic and athletic eligibility standards established by the school.
